Almaviva is rooted in Cabernet SauvignonThis activity organized by Wines of Chile and hosted by Fred Dexheimer was done in San Francisco as part of an Educational program with a Master Class and panel discussion organized by geography with top Chilean Cabernet winemakers. The topic discussed were soil science, old and new approaches to winemaking and the unique attributes, which distinguish Cabernet from Chile versus other countries.  Almaviva’s winemaker Michel Friou, attended the event to explain the exceptional conditions of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto.
