Identify and authenticate
your bottle
At Almaviva, we want to guarantee the authenticity of our wine, that's why starting with Vintage 2018, we have included a security seal called Prooftag™ Bubble Seal® on the capsule of each bottle.
The seal is a unique and irreproducible bubble code, which is associated with a QR code and an alphanumeric code that allows us to ensure the best quality for our customers and prevent counterfeiting.
This seal offers double protection:
- A tamper-proof seal on the cap confirms the origin and integrity of the bottle, and clearly indicates any attempt to alter it.
- The seal features a Bubble Tag™ bubble made of a translucent polymer in which a random pattern of bubbles is self-generated by physical reaction. This unique constellation of bubbles corresponds to a unique identity, just like a fingerprint for each bottle.
You can authenticate your bottle whenever you want by comparing the Bubble Tag™ on the seal with the one on the Almaviva website.
